Are we falling into a world of groupthink? Are we discouraged from creativity or individual thoughts? Is the world so polarized that we can no longer compromise? Do we risk losing our ability to communicate as individuals to make good decisions? What is the difference between groupthink versus Alzheimer's? One is a specific natural disease where the other is self-inflicted. They are similar in that they both slowly destroy our memory and thinking skills. "Flicker of Promise" is about loss of our ability to think as individuals. Unlike a natural disease affecting our thinking skills, we are in danger of losing our ability to think as an individual, if we acquiesce to the machine. May we have faith, desire to find the truth and hold on to the promise so we can improve our future. This book offers a new perspective to an ongoing communication challenge now and well into the future.
