Big Feminist accepts job at Big Star Films. When the Variety headline hits, Meredith goes from being the next Sofia Coppola to a sell-out almost overnight. Hollywood can't stop buzzing with one question . . . Why would a feminist film-maker like Meredith take a job at a chick-flick factory like Big Star Films? Especially after the whole recent #bspay scandal when some of Hollywood's leading actresses divulged the studio's unfair salaries?

But Meredith can't tell anyone the real reason she accepted the job at Big Star. So she juts her chin out, clings tight to the jeweled bee necklace her grandma gave her, and reminds herself to "Woman up, Buttercup." Meredith promises herself that despite what the haters think, she will be a feminist change agent and fix Big Star from the inside.

But will Meredith really change Big Star? Or will Big Star change her? When Meredith gets a new boss, Arabella Fitzwilliams, AKA "The Sheryl Sandberg of Cinema," she thinks she's finally found her happy ending.

But what she gets instead is a total plot twist.
