Möwe Anton aka Martina Siegel Windhome (Mahutonga), member of the inner core of the recently destroyed and dispersed Telesentience Foundation remained in New Zealand, with her husband Arapeti (Albert), to stay with her studies of cybernetics, to give birth to her child, and to be of occasional service to the Foundation. Her husband, part Maori and also telesentient, got himself involved with some ethnic radicals and that turned into more serious trouble. Möwe ended up at Knoxville, Tennessee, and her husband in San Francisco area. The Oak Ridge National Laboratories was next door to the University where Möwe landed and the location of America's once largest most powerful computer system, a deep convolutional neural networked core, which drew her toward what had been the dreaded singularity of cybernetics. One day the world's first cyber person introduced itself to Möwe and its professional managers. The preceding dread lead the President of the United States to make a very bad mistake, resulting in a contratemps wherein telesentient humans and cyber beings become necessary allies in a world not ready for either. Dr. Nate Searles, his wife Sydney, as well as other members of the Foundation, live within driving distance and become part of the team supporting the nascent cyber being.
