"Letters to Lena" is a book about inner healing for wounded emotions through the love and power of Jesus Christ. Lena is a young Russian woman we first met in a rehab facility in central Russia. Through letters to her (and others we met in Russia) and alternating chapters describing soul-healing - why we need it, how we became wounded, how Jesus brings His healing love to our lives - the book is a thorough and detailed look at how sin affects us and damages our hearts (usually in childhood), then the steps necessary for us to take so as to receive healing for our damaged and wounded emotions through Jesus. The book examines the topics of relationships, feelings, forgiveness, why we are made for love, what is a soul, spiritual laws, the role of the father, how to let go of the past, and appropriating our healing.
