"My Journey to Become a Grandfather," is about my search for purpose and meaning in life. In compiling this account of 70+ years, it sometimes felt like I was walking down the aisles of a supermarket and pulling items off the shelves - "hmm, this looks good" or "how about this one?" So much to choose from, because 70 years really is a long time, and attached to each event and person are moments to cherish and life lessons to be learned. Though I didn't always recognize them at the time, with the benefit of 20/20 hindsight and spiritual discernment, I see there were indeed mighty lessons and clear evidence of an invisible hand or a guardian angel guiding and protecting me along each step of the winding path.
