The Medical Key to the Doctrine of the Chinese on Pulses Shawn Daniels Ph D

The book that you're holding in your hands is a new translation for Boym's "Clavis Medica ad Chinarum doctrinam de pulsibus" (The Medical Key to the Chinese doctrines of the pulse). This translation holds many secrets. Boym's work has been much distorted and sadly only printed in fragments. Yet, even after so many centuries there has never been a complete attempt to put together all the fragments and conclusively attach each piece of the puzzle to a specific Chinese text. The modern Chinese Medicine reader or those involved in the fields of Humanities, Medical Anthropology or Sinology will greatly benefit from such an investigation and gain much perspective about Boym's impact within their own respective fields. "A vital step towards finally and decisively understanding and appreciating Boym's work in context that has been missing from bibliography until now" - Dr. Ioannis Solos Ph. D, Doctor of Medicine, Chinese Medical Author, Sinologist
