Theodore Gumbril IV
Like all fifteen year olds, Elman just wants to have fun. Being from Winnipeg doesn't help his situation. Even worse, he's shackled to the late 1980s and is being held hostage by Generation X. He and his peers still have to live out the tail end of an era they didn't belong to. Unknown to them they are still a few years away from being rescued by grunge music and candy raving. Until then all they can do is tough it out one weekend at a time. Author Ted Gumbril is ashamed and proud of his years as a mallrat. When he is not writing fiction, he is still trying to find a real job with a dental plan and pension. His disdain for Winnipeg has slowly morphed into a modest appreciation for the nearly cosmopolitan city. Sometime in the early 1990s Ted jumped ship, he quit Generation X because he hated always being the baby of the group. He now is an elder statesman of Generation Y.
