Forty years ago I was Principal Investigator on a NASA grant at the University of California, San Diego. Then I committed the unpardonable sin of putting science above NASA's political storyline, and was 'excommunicated'. But instead of going away, I continued to make fundamental discoveries about the nature of Earth and the Solar System, and even about reasons why galaxies have only a few characteristic shapes. Meanwhile, NASA scientists continued to deceive the public and the scientific community, even to the extent of becoming party to the biggest science-based scam ever perpetrated that ultimately will lead to the death of countless millions of people worldwide and, unless abated, will continue to lead to an anthropogenic mass extinction of life on Earth. This book is not only about science, but about the deplorable scientific ethics and ethos that are pervasive at NASA.
