The Eagle Signal
Jeannie Frazier
On April 22, 1962, Anne Starling became a young widow and single-mother to her two toddlers. For months after her husband's death she could not close her eyes at night without seeing the fiery images of bombs detonating. However, she had to go on with her life for the sake of her young children. She made a way for all of them with an interior design firm, and she now works alongside her daughter, Katherine. Her architect son, David II, sometimes works with them on projects. However, Anne is still troubled about her husband's death and would like answers. An interesting job at a local military base and an email from a mysterious figure from her past may just provide the answers she has been almost too afraid to hope for.
