Have you ever been sent away to summer camp when you didn't want to go? Camp Golden Hills, located in scenic Vermont is home to all sorts of fun summer activities. It also is rumored to be the home of the scary camp legend - Mikey!

Julian finds himself stuck for two weeks at this place while his parent's are handling their recent divorce. He tries to look at the bright side of things, but things just seem to be going bad for him all around.

He makes a few friends: Zach, a good-natured, card dealing, banjo playing, hamburger enthusiast. Brain, an eccentric fellow with a penchant for language and a veritable encyclopedia. Also, Jake, a kid built to tackle the mean city streets stuck in the wilderness.

Is this a group of blue ribbon winners who will take the camp competition or Mikey's next victims?
