Sometimes You Have To Eat A Crap Sandwich: A collection of short essays to help improve your career mileage Don Fesh

The book your company and manager don't want you to read. How can you improve your chances to get promoted, make a better salary and avoid career missteps? Learn from my mistakes. With the luxury of hindsight, I've shared situational examples of how I could have and should have made different choices about my career, including opportunities missed, staying in one place too long and not seeking out a trusted advisor / mentor to help me navigate my career. This collection of short essays talks about these topics as well as sheds light on how to spot poor leaders. The stories are shared in a conversational and humorous way and each chapter can be consumed independently. Wouldn't it be helpful to have a map to show you how to make better career decisions by seeing mistakes someone else has made? You will have a chance to follow someone down their career path and see how and where they made avoidable mistakes - don't start from scratch when there is a practical tool that can help inform you along your journey.
