My Seven Essential Daily Prayers: A Retired Pastor's Journey Into a Powerful Personal Focus in Prayer Loren L Fenton D Min

"My Seven Essential Daily Prayers: A Retired Pastor's Journey Into a Powerful Personal Focus in Prayer" is a revised and updated version of an earlier book, "Seven Essential Daily Prayers: Build a Firewall Every Morning for Your Spiritual Survival." The current title and subtitle offer more congruence with the interior content, much of which shares the author's experience of growing into a deeper relationship with God. Many stories and anecdotes--sometimes humorous, sometimes gut-wrenching--pop up as spotlights illustrating important teaching points. Each of the eight chapters is filled with accounts of God's grace, agápe love, and inspiration for a life of Christian service and devotion. Study guide and journaling pages follow each chapter. The study guide and journal features are designed for either individual devotional meditation, or to serve as "prime the pump" launching aids for group discussion.
