Protestant Christianity, A Prisoner's Perspective And Defense
Harold Hempstead
Protestant Christian inmates in the Tennessee and Florida prison systems and in prison systems across America are being denied their right to practice their faith. They are being given the option of switching their religion, not attending any services at all, or attending services that claim to be Protestant but are not. At the professing Protestant services, Catholic church doctrines and all types of heretical doctrines that attack God and the atoning work of Christ are being propagated as Protestantism. The United States constitution and federal law provides Protestant inmates with rights to challenge these conditions.
