Three-Day Weekend Ron Skelton
Three-Day Weekend
Ron Skelton
Steve Taylor is a middle-aged autoworker and amateur comedian, married to a sweet woman confined to a wheelchair since childhood. After working the late shift before the 4th of July weekend, he walks into the local big-box store. Moments later a band of gunmen storm in and take control, intent on robbing the bank branch located inside. The group is led by a ruthless bank robber on the lam from a deadly heist. Steve avoids capture, and a SWAT command center is set up outside the store. Working with the police, he hesitantly agrees to help end the standoff. His love for his wife and fear that getting killed will leave her helpless, drives his every move. The risks he takes, pushed by the SWAT leader, brings him ever closer to the God who rescued him in the past. In a fight for his life, Steve must confront dangers in the present and atone for mistakes made in the past.
