"Please stay up... PLEASE!" I yelled, barely below a whisper to myself. I have been pacing back and forth in the bathroom stall, holding my eyelids up with my index fingers, for a little over ten minutes. I had run in there when a classmate caught me trying to make them stay open with my index fingers behind a textbook at my desk. When he saw what I was doing, he nudged the guy sitting in front of him. When he got wind of it, they both started to giggle, which is the reason why I'm hiding out in the bathroom stall now. By this time, I had been bullied quite a bit. One time, a kid even stabbed me in the leg with a compass. Therefore, I did all I could do to stay out of harm's way.
