The captivating and expressive characters are Jonathan's original creations. The story, which was created and written by Jonathan, is exciting, funny, silly, and just plain fun. The story is about four critter friends from Critterville, Puffy Pig, Franky Frog, Dave Cat, and Sherlock Dog. They find a pencil which they discover has magical properties. The magic pencil turns their lives upside down and starts them on a fantastic adventure as evil robots appear wanting the Magic Pencil. What will they do? This book is excellent for early readers, as well as struggling readers, who will enjoy the abundance of pictures which help to maintain focus and interest. Of course, even excellent young readers can enjoy this book for the colorful and engaging pictures and characters! This books is also an excellent book to read as a bedtime story for younger children! The story was all created by Jonathan, a teenage boy with autism who loves to draw and create stories.
