When I think about the word organic, I think about the wholeness of a person. I think about the naturalness of an individual. I see a person being in their broken state of being. When I begin to ponder about the authenticity of who I am today, I see the broken me - the healed me. I see the woman behind the smile. I see the woman behind the makeup. I see the woman who hides the inner pain. I begin to grasp the me that has had a trillion broken pieces but refuses to give up and die. When I sit back and meditate about the Organic Me, I consider the time in my life where I was at the point of death - broken, disappointed, confused, disorganized and needing to have a touch from God just like the woman who had the issue of blood. She suffered with her infirmities for twelve long years. It wasn't until she realized that she had to seek God for her issue that she was made whole. Being organic is like embracing wholeness in your life. Organic Me is a book that will take you on a journey through my life as I share my ups and downs, trials, triumphs, valleys, hills, bad times as well as good times. This book will showcase how these things helped me to become the Organic Me that I am today. Today I can say that I embraced my past, and I am traveling through my present and looking forward to my future. Some may question why I am so confident in my organic self. It is because I now know who I am and where God is taking me in this season. I am the Organic ME and loving the ME I see through the eyes of God.
