Dragon Country follows the character of Ashleigh Sullivan, a woman struggling with the loss of her Grandmother, the man she loved and a childhood she knows she will never get back. Ashleigh wants more than anything to have a fresh start at life. In her 30's she is just beginning her college career, already far behind her classmates, but she soon discovers that knowledge isn't determined by age. Ashleigh instantly bonds with a classmate named Jenna who is going through some issues of her own. Through a series of inexplicable events and while unraveling a mystery surrounding Jades Dragon, a local club that has plagued their campus for years, Ashleigh and Jenna come face-to-face with their inner demons. Through their struggles with loss, relationships and finding themselves Ashleigh and Jenna experience strength through their differences, share a bond of friendship through their similarities and depend on each other through trials they never saw coming.
