When I was a young adult, I often contemplated if coincidences were really just chance encounters and if our lives were really planned out for us. In the early 1990's, I was a young woman who appeared to be living the American dream. I had just finished graduate school and I landed my first big job. I moved into my first house with my son and we spend weekends at the shore with family. I attended great parties with friends and I loved my ski weekends in Vermont. Life was good or so I thought at that time. Through my son's unique life and my many experiences as a young adult searching for answers, I slowly came to hear the ever so delicate whisper in the wind. I choose to say "yes" to the voice that was trying to lead me. My life was never the same again. I found out the answers to all of my questions and more through the most unbelievable life journey, which called me to a remote corner of the world for continued enlightenment. It was not my accomplishments that led me on this journey, but my failures in life.
