Miss Bluemoon
June Nolen
Miss Bluemoon was born in a rundown shanty in the Louisiana Bayou in the early 1800s under a blue moon. She was brought up in the kitchen of Misty Glen by her grandmother, who was the cook. She taught her how to mix potions and to be a strong woman who could take care of herself. Her ancestry was a dirty, hidden secret that she felt compelled to explore. She wanted more, much more, for her and her only son, Mandrake. She was determined to become a grand lady no matter what she had to do to become one. She was terrified when a war loomed on the horizon. With the help of her mother, she was prepared and again was determined to survive and thrive no matter what was thrown at her.
