Betty the Bee, what makes me, ME! explores a number of feelings and 'ways of being' in a simple and visual way for younger children to understand. This bright picture book uses simple feelings words such as 'sad' and 'scared' along with more complex emotions such as 'mindful' and 'brave' to encourage conversations and thought around a wide range of feelings. Betty the Bee explains that there are lots of different elements to each individual and we shouldn't be expected to be in the same state of 'being' all of the time.
