The research will show the results of increasing patient awareness and integrating anti-oppressive considerations reduce the symptoms of depression. In addition this will also show the effectiveness of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in reducing depressive symptoms, when used as a therapeutic intervention for minority populations.
