The behavior of screaming has been an insignificant variable in the behavior of autistic children. It is also a behavior, which is often failed to get recorded in the evaluation process. Considering that such a study would augment the present understanding of nonverbal behavior of autistic children and hence the very nature of the disorder itself and can give valuable details of the process of communication and interaction, a descriptive study was undertaken.
