Knowledge sharing, where individuals mutually exchange knowledge and jointly create new knowledge is considered vital for both organisations and universities. Unfortunately, in most circumstances there is some reluctance to share knowledge and various reasons are attributed towards this reluctance. Studies regarding knowledge sharing in an organisational context are evident. But research related to the classroom context is rather scarce.
