The present book studies malnutrition among tribal women and children in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India. Most of the malnourished children of the world live in Africa and Asia. Child malnutrition rates in South Asia are much worse than in Sub-Saharan Africa. India has high proportion of women and children malnutrition. Hunger and Malnutrition Survey Report observed that most of the children in India are undernourished. Though Maharashtra is known as one of the most developed states in India, severe incidences of malnourishment are observed in the state of Maharashtra. The present study is about malnutrition among tribal women and children in the kannad taluka of Aurangabad district of Maharashtra. We observed that most of children and their mothers were malnourished. We also found that large number of mothers had early marriages and pre-matured pregnancy.
