Larynx Carcinoma - from the Clinic to the Lab Approach and Beyond Marius Raica

Due to larynx vital role in phonation, respiration and deglutition the study main purpose was to preserve its functions and to assess the therapeutic option for bicordal-commissure laryngeal glottic cancer. Histopathological, histochemical and immunohistochemical morphologic exam represents an essential stage in diagnosis, resection margins and prognosis evaluation. A multimodal approach of bicordal-commissure glottic carcinoma from the clinic to the lab and beyond is necessary because it represents a complex disease due to the evaluation, diagnosis, staging, treatment indications and contraindications difficulties.
