Maize is an important cereal of the world, it ranks fourth position among the food crops of Afghanistan. Planting method is one of a crucial factor for improving of the yield. Maize has very high nutrient requirement and its productivity closely depends on nutrient management system. Among the synthetic chemical fertilizers nitrogen is the key element in increasing productivity. Beside the yield, protein and oil content of maize also increase by increasing of this element.
