Evaluation of clinical training plays an important role in teaching learning process for both the student who is evaluating and the teacher who is seeking improvement. The students' perceptions are the core of any educational program. The evaluation of clinical training provides an opportunity for faculty to receive feedback on their clinical teaching. Through feedback from students, we can better understand clinical training strengths, weaknesses, and gain ideas about the quality of their training. The author designed an evaluation tool to assess the clinical nurse instructor performance by students. The construction of the instrument includes four steps: Reviews the literature on effective clinical training performance, testing the validity of the evaluation tool, assessing the importance of evaluation tool items and examining the reliability of the evaluation tool. This book offers four domains for evaluating the clinical nurse instructor performance by students: professional competency, relationship, personality characteristics and evaluation domain.
