Lymphadenopathy is one of the commonest clinical presentation in practice. The aim of present study is to highlight the role of FNAC in diagnosis of etiological profile of lymphadenopathy & to find out the accuracy of FNAC in comparison to biopsy. FNAC is now a days recognized as a rapid diagnostic technique because of its simplicity, early availability of results, cost effective procedure,minimal trauma & absence of complication. Because of good diagnostic accuracy, FNAC is well correlated with histopathology.
