Wheat is one of the most widely cultivated food crops and is the staple food in more than 40 countries for over 35% of the global population. For the morpho-physiological analysis seventeen parameters were study. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the genotypic difference was highly significant (p< 0.01) for all the characters. From the study of cluster analysis based on morpho-physiological dendrogram the varieties Satlug-86 and Lasani-08 were most distantly related ,so these two varieties are best for hybridization. The variety Dirk is best for drought, Miraj-08 for yield per plant, Sussui and Chakwal-86 for both drought and yield.
