Possessive Reflexives and Pronominals in Hindi-urdu and Isl: a Minimalist Perspective
Dr. Richa
The present work examines possessive reflexives and pronominals in Hindi-Urdu and in Indian Sign Language from the the minimalist perspective. It is one of the major contributions to the understanding of Hindi-Urdu syntax. It examines the syntax of Hindi-Urdu possessive reflexives and pronominals in a very careful empirically grounded fashion constructing theoretical analyses of the most intricate data using the latest and most provocative formal models. This work is likely to be of interest not only to the theoretical linguists but also to the computational linguists as it will be a helpful guide in Anaphora Resolution.
