The Benefit of Adaptive Technology in the Elementary Classroom presents a critical review of the current literature available for these specific school grades and topic. Computer uses and value to the eduator, student and society are addressed. Possible problems and solutions along with recommended further research topics are presented. Though research is specific to elementary students residing in the State of Nevada, all research and recommentations may be applied to students living in the modern world funtioning daily with computer technology. Computer Technology, as a life skill and a neccessary academic topic, is another important curriculum taught during the day to most of the older students. Preparing our younger students for the real world is just one of the goals addressed.
