This study is presented in two interdependent parts. Part one, which is the bulk of the study, consists in presenting an ?analytic' account of the phenomenology of the body-subject and lived-time together with a psychopathology of the category of lived-time as experienced by melancholic persons. In part two the conceptual framework developed in part one will be used to describe one aspect of melancholic suffering, namely: restructured temporality.
