This book entitled, Manufacturing Process is a basic guide to those manufacturing Engineers mostly working on production of most metal industries. Foundry technology is elaborated in detail. The usual sand casting process and some contemporary casting processes are explained well. The procedures followed are supported by realistic examples and are simplified. Powder metallurgy, which is used to make alloys and powder parts that cannot be done by other metal forming processes including casting is described as required by the technology. Not only the entire operations followed to make powder parts are explained, but also eight different ways of powder metallurgy are described in detail. The conventional and unconventional metal forming processes employed for various purposes are described in detail. Moreover, the other metal forming methods are included. Die sets, that are used for customized products are explained. Press works made on those versatile press machines are included. Their drive mechanisms are also explained. Finally, forging which is the oldest metal forming process including the tools used are described.
