Software Offshoring - Making It Work!: Leadership for Managing Employee Impact in Software Offshore Outsourced Environment
Muhammad Hayyan Khan
Offshore Outsourcing, perhaps more than most complex and broad IT initiatives, can make or break individual careers, and even companies. At issue is often more than simply the viability of the Information Technology (IT) organization as an entity. To the extent that the IT function provides the firm?s strategic or competitive edge, Offshore Outsourcing can be a determinant of the success or failure of the organization as a whole. Either way the stakes are high. I have analyzed the risks the offshore outsourcing can have on a company and the type of leadership required for that. I have also seen what kind of decisions the management has to take while implementing the offshore model. I have done a lot of surveys and research to complete this publication. I hope my work has positive influence on your work and helps you take good decisions when you are working in the offshore model. Enjoy!
