Research studies embodied in this manuscript were aimed to explore the impact of paclobutrazol application with four methods (T1-soil drenching, T2-collar washing, T3-stem injection and T4-stem pitting) in two different concentrations (10 g and 15 g) on vegetative and reproductive growth of mango as compared to control (T0). These investigations were conducted at Experimental Fruit Garden (Square No. 9), Institute of Horticultural Sciences, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Thirty-six healthy trees of mango cv. Langra, 20 years old, growing under similar agro climatic conditions were selected. The experiment was laid out in RCBD under two factorial arrangements. Cultar was applied @ 40 ml (10 g paclobutrazol a.i.) and 60 ml (15 g paclobutrazol a.i.) through each method. The parameters under study included, leaf nutrient contents, vegetative, reproductive growth and fruit quality parameters. So at the end of this study, it may be concluded that paclobutrazol application through stem injection method @ 10 g concentration (T3), reduced vegetative growth and improved reproductive growth of the mango trees without adversely affecting mango fruit quality.
