In recent years, the technological advances have maximized the efficiency of dental treatment, allowing the dentists work faster, more accurately and causing less pain for patients during treatment. However, despite all the new inventions in dental healthcare science, patients still appear to maintain the same level of anxiety as they did years ago and dentistry is perceived as being more stressful than other occupations. The question that arises is why the new inventions in dental healthcare science did not reduce the emotional stress of patients and dentists overall? This book provides an analysis of how the dental industry can be improved, by researching the patients and dentists interactions with the designs of dental equipment. It will look at how an Industrial Design can improve the overall well - being of the patient and dentist, and should be especially useful to the professionals in Medical and Design fields, or anyone else who had experienced work related pain in the dental field and readers who are afraid of the dental treatments.
