Strategy Formulation Framework in Action: the Case of Turkish Airlines on Domestic Air Transportation Mehmet Sanal

This study has examined the main topics of strategic management including its historical development, its definitions in literature, and its processes. There are many different strategic management process models in the literature. The study has used Fred David?s strategic management model. The model, which consists of three stages: strategy formulation, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation, has been described theoretically. In the application part of the study, strategy formulation framework of David?s strategic management model has been applied to the Turkish Airlines on Domestic Air Transportation and strategy suggestions have been made to the firm.
