The aim of this study is to compare fascia lata and prolene monofilament suturet for frontalis suspension surgery in treatment of severe congenital ptosis with poor levator function. At present, congenital severe ptosis is repaired by frontalis suspension surgery, which consists of connecting the tarsal plate to the eyebrow with various types of sling materials. Different methods are used to pass the sling material from the eyelid to the eyebrow area in the suborbicularis plane during frontalis suspension surgery.
