How can linguistic justice be achieved and measured in increasingly multilingual societies? The book identifies the most fundamental language-dependent public goods and services by analysing the principles and rights that societies have enshrined in their constitutions.

These capabilities are then translated into measurable indicators, forming the Multidimensional Linguistic Justice Index (MLJI). Through a set of indicators and an intuitive tiered visual representation, the MLJI provides an accessible means of comparison across jurisdictions.
