It Happens to Men Too. A true story about Abuse, Trauma, Restoration, & Healing.

This story is based on true events, the names of the people involved will be changed for anonymity. It is with great sadness that I even share this story. There are so many other men experiencing abuse daily in this world, and they don't know what to do to change it. There are so many men who are afraid of coming forward for risk of embarrassment, as well as fear of losing their children, loss of family, and their friends. It is my hope is that through sharing "Brian's" story, it may give other men a sense of hope, and revealing to them to realize that they are not alone. While no two set of circumstances are exactly alike, others have overcome experiences of abuse and that victory and restoration for them was and is possible. When they come to realize this and know there are so many others experiencing abuse that have overcome, they can too.

Sharing this Brian's story doesn't negate the abuse of woman and how such acts are very wrong and need to be corrected. There needs to be a change in the world for both men and women. There is support, there is hope, there is healing, and most importantly there can be restoration through Jesus Christ.
