In a commercial area of New Jersey, a few human errors lead to a shocking arrival.
The ominous presents is in the shape of a giant new species of marine hunter,
a new threat to local bathers. Slowly, a number of key locals become
involved in a serious mystery - one that will claim the attention of many.
Before this undersea shadow is revealed, a scientific research team and a few
other factions invest in hunting this menace, but their interests will conflict.
Small conflicts break out, a few will play hero, others assume devious or powerful roles
