Song of the Eclectic Tambourine Ronald Detorre

This is the journey of Marcus Mendoza Amati. It is a story about the strength and fragility of friendships, and a generation in conflict. A child of the '60s, Marc falls in love with two young women as disparate as the politics of the times. Lilly Garret, a minister's daughter, is focused on ending the Vietnam War, drugs, and social issues. Mary Belinda is talented, beautiful, rich, and bent on a future of fame. Though they both eventually leave him behind, Marc is deeply affected by what he learned from, and because of them, and takes these lessons with him as he moves from child to man. Lilly and Mary make their way as strong, willful women, Marc discovers he may be the one to unite their paths to a greater purpose than any of them intended.
