A collection (anthology) of Papua New Guinea stories and legends that captures contemporary stories that were written during the 2020 Covid19 shutdown period. The Anthology includes three (3) Papua New Guinean legends that were reconstructed were also added to the anthology. The first of the #series in the book called the Cry Me a River; in the first instance, showcases four short stories of an elderly man's adventure or misadventures with mobiles phones and face book accounts. The second of the series introduces stories around the theme of pineapples in two short stories and more stories will continue in another future anthology. The book also showcases the multitude of languages that Papua New Guinea has. At last count, it was 860 plus distinct languages. Each language group has its own customs, traditions, stories, songs and legends. Contemporary stories also tend to be local to the area. There is also a few more contemporary stories on issues happening in the country. The legends are worked on with a desire to bring Papua New Guineans to put in a concerted effort to start recording their own legends from their language.
