From the: Preface: This is a continuation of the previous 12 lab book introducing the most basic electronic devices called An Introduction to Electronics Labs. This set of labs is geared towards getting familarized with counters and troubleshooting. Unlike building a virtual circuit, the hands-on training with wiring here offers learning how to troubleshoot and correct problems such as faulty connections and unstable voltage leves. Likewise, the hand-on training here provides an introduction to troubleshooting in the industrial environment where troubleshooting is performed but on a much larger scale. Lab 1 includes an introduction to the Thevenin and Norton Theorems, and an introduction to the Superposition Theorem. Lab 2 briefly explains the use of inductors. Lab 3 explains frequency filters. Lab 4 demonstrates a decoder that transforms the binary signal into a number on a seven segment display. Then the building of circuits with counters starts from Lab 4 and continues to lab 9. Lab 10 includes a counter used in a Multiplexer circuit. Labs 11 and using a counter shows the conversion from a digital to an analog signal. Lab 12 shows the conversion of analog to digital signals using opamps as comparators
