Eugene, an energetic and outgoing twelve-year-old boy, convinces his new friend Rich to help him fulfil a dream to fly. Working together they raise money for their secret project. Rich, to satisfy his new friends' ambition, goes along with the project. Having to lie to their parents, and avoiding 'bedroom prison, ' they push on and succeed in completing their project. In the final moments, they will find out if their attempts will have success. Through it all, they both discover a friendship that will last the rest of their lives
