Annabelle and Eleanor Farley are set to sail for America from their homeland England along with their parents. On their departure day, a tragedy occurs just as they are about to board their ship, and their parents get killed. Both girls flee for the beach, ending up inside a small fishing boat resting on the water. Annabelle and Eleanor fall asleep and unbeknownst to them, the boat sails off on the sea, heading westward. The girls face a very difficult voyage, from violent storms to an attack by killer whales. Their destination for America seems uncertain. Will Annabelle and Eleanor survive?
