In this book we examine the current Homeless Crisis in Los Angeles County and use tools from the discipline of Negotiation Conflict Resolution and Peace-building to address the problems. We analyze how to meet needs as to offer solutions that benefit many parties to this crisis that is getting out of control. With the concerns about social justice and the ruling in Martin vs. Boise the pressure is getting to the point of an explosion. The traditional way of negotiating is out the window and an alternative interest based approach in becoming the new normal. This is alternative dispute resolution at it's finest and the way of the new world where one party doesn't have to lose for the other party to win.
