This story shows a connection between physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of a person and how they interact with each other. What is interesting about this young adult fiction story is that, even though it is a fiction, the whole story could be almost taken as non-fiction because the things that we see, hear, experience by our senses get into our mind and make an impact on it. This story is meant to encourage those who face health or mental issue, or disease, or try to find confidence in themselves in order to fight the problem they have just like John Leere did in this book.
