Dum spiro spero: While I breathe, I hope Joseph J Nettles

It happens to us all, those moments when we need help, help in believing that it's going to be okay, for me, it was the day my mom died. It was very early on February 2, 2015, after I watched my mother take her last breath. Crying uncontrollably, I was inconsolable until a nurse came through the door to officially pronounce my mother dead. A stranger to me, in every way, but at that moment, she spoke life into the broken and hurting souls of my sisters and me, in a way we didn't think was possible. That is what I hope to do for you with my poetry. We all have days when we need to know there is hope, that someone understands what we are going through. I pray that this poetry will meet you there, in those moments, and carry you all the way through. Blessings.
